Temple Baptist Christian School was started in 1985 as a ministry of Temple Baptist Church to assist families in teaching their children, not just the "Three R's," but also in the Word of God.  TBCS realizes the importance of "Training for Time and Eternity."

TBCS has done the very best we can to maintain a level of "normal," especially when so many things around us are not normal.

First, we are excited to host our annual Honor's Banquet that will be held April 22 at 6:30 PM.  This is semi-formal event that will give an opportunity to honor students who have excelled in areas of academics, fine arts, Lady Eagles' volleyball team, and Eagles' basketball team.

Second, we are preparing for the Spring Program and Wax Museum that will be held on April 29 this year.  The students will be showcasing their research projects and accomplishments from Fine Arts this year.

Lastly, the 2022 graduation will be coming soon!  Please plan to join us as we recognize the accomplishments of our Senior and Kindergarten on May 27 at 7:00 PM in a very special commencement exercise.

TBCS never stops working to make the best possible experience for our student body.  The summer is not a time that things come to a grinding halt here. In fact, the summer is filled with projects to make the new school year get off to a great start.

As you know, we are in the midst of our re-enrollment and new enrollment period.  Please continue to tell your family and friends about Temple.  We would love to set up a time for an interview and tour for prospective families.

If you have not taken care of your re-enrollment for next year, you need to contact our office right away so you can take advantage of early registration savings.

It is an understatement to say things have changed over the last few years.  I have not met anyone in education circles who predicted that schools would be closed for an entire quarter of a school year.  I never thought that I would be required to wear a mask in certain places.  I did not think some people would think it awkward to shake people's hands as a greeting.

But one thing I am confident in, God has not changed.  He is in perfect control.  His Word has not changed.  And His Word tells us that in the days before His coming, there will be strange and catastrophic things take place.

Since TBCS is based on God's Word, and we actively seek His will for the ministry, we can also have great confidence that He will guide and protect our school families in the days and weeks to come.  God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind!
